Responsibilities
Verify and clarify imaging orders with providers to ensure accuracy
Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures clearly
Review medical histories for optimal patient care and imaging outcomes
Perform MRI exams from start to finish, ensuring image quality and patient safety
Administer IV contrast following protocols and document accordingly
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical personnel during imaging procedures
Maintain adherence to MRI safety standards and infection control policies
Utilize radiology information and EMR systems to document patient data and exam details
Respond to patient condition changes and assist with life support measures if necessary
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), ARMRI, or NMTCB certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience
Preferred
Familiarity with EPIC, Philips iSite, and radiology workflow
Strong commitment to patient care and radiation safety principles
