Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and adhere to hospital policies and nursing standards
Work night shifts, typically 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, covering every other weekend and some holiday scheduling flexibility
Use advanced equipment including bladder scanners, IV pumps, wound vacs, and vein finders
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
Minimum 1 year experience in Med Surg inpatient care
BLS certification from AHA required
Ability to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
Comfortable with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:6
Preferred
ACLS certification preferred
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is a plus
