Responsibilities

Incumbent performs the full range of supervisory duties, managing a staff of subordinates, planning work to be accomplished, setting priorities and scheduling work to be completed within the section
Technical authority for a variety of projects regarding planning, analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and management of networked systems
Skill in written and oral communications sufficient to present sensitive recommendations regarding complex issues and risks to higher authority
Mastery of hardware/software architecture related to network communication systems
Ability to oversee the design and development stages of network projects and formulate strategies required to integrate new technology into the current hardware, software, and communications architecture

Must be a U.S. Citizen

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment
In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months

To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Experience managing team projects, planning, analysis, design, development, testing, integration and experience performing or analyzing qualitative and quantitative analysis in efforts to assess and improve networks through testing and integration of new technologies
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level
