Responsibilities
Install and service public safety enforcement systems including cameras, brackets, solar panels, and wiring harnesses
Perform on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting
Use test equipment, hand tools, and schematics to diagnose and correct system malfunctions
Assemble wiring and electrical components following prints, specifications, and safety standards
Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and equipment
Support in-house teams by assisting with assembly and field prep activities
Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with ISO and safety standards
Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and occasionally with customers
Complete documentation and reports related to service visits and repairs
Follow all company policies related to safety, data handling, and field protocols
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade certification preferred
2+ years of experience in electronics, mechanical assembly, or field service
Valid U.S. drivers license with a clean driving record
Comfortable using small hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
Experience with basic networking and hardware configuration is a plus
Soldering experience preferred
Electrical and mechanical assembly
Field troubleshooting and diagnostics
Wiring and schematic interpretation
Equipment handling and safety awareness
Strong attention to detail and time management
Communication and reporting
Travel readiness and reliability
Preferred
Technical training or trade certification
Bilingual preferred
Experience with surveillance or enforcement technology
Familiarity with DVOMs, soldering tools, and network testing equipment
Background in a field-based or mobile service environment
