Responsibilities

Assist project Engineers – Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical, in all phases of project work, from drafting, on-site as-built documentation, design coordination with outside design consultants, field data collection, light design / production work, construction administration, commissioning, and closeout documentation for a variety of projects ranging in scope from minor rehabs to building new facilities

Required

Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements
Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to work under deadlines, on short notice and support extended/off-hours when needed to support project or resort engineering issue
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Design, Electrical Architecture
GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Fully available from Monday through Friday with occasional weekends or holidays pending project need, up to 40 hours each week, early mornings or late nights are a possibility, bulk of work time will be during traditional 8am-5pm
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Preferred

Prior related work experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on architecture, engineering, energy systems, energy engineering or construction, low voltage, underground utilities, distribution engineering
Experience working with AutoCAD, REVIT and/or BIM (Building Information Modeling), SKM, ETAP, HVAC, Lighting Control System, Power System Analysis, Emergency Generator, Emergency Power, Solar, Heat & Power Plants
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Note: Please, no rounding) as shown on a transcript
