Administrative Associate II (Brown Creek CI)
The N.C. Department of Adult Correction is responsible for the care, custody, and supervision of adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. They are seeking an Administrative Associate II to act as a liaison between facility administration and the public, managing high-volume correspondence and visitor information.

Responsibilities
Completing assignments using a computer and Microsoft Office software
Operating the offender mainframe database (OPUS)
Composing, typing and editing correspondence, reports, and records
Organizing and maintaining confidential records and sensitive information for inclusion in correspondence and personnel-related issues
Processing incoming/outgoing mail and visitor applications
Working independently and completing all assignments on time
Scheduling offender visitation as well as greeting and directing visitors and staff
Managing high call volumes, greeting and assisting visitors, clients, staff, and others
Qualification
Required
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word
Knowledge of the office or working policies and procedures
Experience facilitating the flow of work and coordinating office support activities with other staff
