Responsibilities

Perform data analysis to find opportunities for cost reduction and value creation (improved quality, cost, service and compliance) and facilitate supplier presentations
Perform liaison work between Strategic Sourcing and key clients, ensuring efficient supply chain methods
Provide support for sourcing projects, including data analysis and supplier interface
Develop and implement eRFIs/eRFQs/eRFPs/eAuctions
Perform external market assessment and opportunity analysis and participate in Supplier negotiations
Develop and handle partner and supplier relationships and contract implementations
Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives and priorities

Required

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Logistics, Economics, Finance or related
GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available Monday thru Friday, EST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
