Engineering Technician V
ATCSI is seeking an Engineering Technician V who will apply engineering principles to manage complex assignments and projects. The role involves designing, developing, and testing equipment, while also training lower-level technicians and coordinating with other personnel to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and constructs major units, devices, or equipment; conducts tests or experiments; analyzes results and redesigns or modifies equipment to improve performance; and reports results
Develops difficult designs for equipment such as engine parts, research instruments, or special purpose circuitry given general guidelines and specifications (e.g., size or weight requirements), but without critical performance requirements. Analyzes technical data to determine applicability to design problems; selects from several possible design layouts; calculates design data; and prepares layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, procedures, etc. May check and analyze drawings or equipment to determine adequacy of drawings and design
Plans or assists in planning tests to evaluate equipment performance. Determines test requirements, equipment modification, and test procedures; conducts tests using various types of instruments; analyzes and evaluates test results; and prepares reports on findings and recommendations
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
Minimum 10 years of experience required, with at least six years of experience in the installation of ATC&LS equipment and design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings
Master's degree in any technical discipline or bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in the field or associate's degree plus 6 years of experience
