InternInova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Intern to join the team. This role will be PRN every other weekend and involves various responsibilities under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities
Performs all aspects of medication distribution
Manages medication inventory
Maintains Automated Dispensing Machine
Performs monthly pharmacy inspections per policies/procedures
Participates in patient care
Participates in department quality improvements projects
Developing skills and knowledge base necessary to practice as a pharmacist
Qualification
Required
Education: High School or GED and enrolled in Pharmacy School
Licensure: State of Virginia Pharmacy Technician license or a Pharmacy Intern license
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire
