Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process for management and affiliated corporate entities, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger's accuracy and deliver timely financial reporting for corporate entities
Oversee corporate credit card activity, including allocation, reconciliation, and preparation of reimbursements and intercompany allocations
Assist in cash management activities, including the establishment and maintenance of bank accounts for corporate and investment entities
Support audits, tax preparation, and respond to ad hoc financial reporting requests
Perform basic Yardi system administration, including user setup and chart of accounts maintenance
Collaborate with fund accounting, asset management, and operations teams to ensure compliance with expense classification and firm policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, investment management, or professional services
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
Experience with accounts payable in a multi-entity environment
Familiarity with Yardi is required or strongly preferred
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Preferred
Experience supporting management companies within private equity or real estate investment firms
Exposure to intercompany accounting and expense allocations
Experience working in a lean or high-growth environment
