Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring compliance with laws and regulations that impact PSERS Investment Office
Serve as a primary back-up for monitoring compliance with investment portfolio guidelines for internal and external investment managers
Focus on leveraging automation and technology to enhance program effectiveness

Qualification

Required

One year as a PSERS' Junior Investment Professional; or
A Bachelor's degree and one year performing relevant investment compliance and/or investment auditing; or
Five years performing relevant investment compliance and investment auditing; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Successful completion of any of the following professional accreditations may be substituted for relevant work experience: Certified Public Accountant (CPA): 1 year, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA): 1 year, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA): 1 year, Financial Risk Manager (FRM): 1 year, Professional Risk Manager (PRM): 1 year, Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP): 1 year
You must be able to perform essential job functions

Preferred

Two or more years of experience in investment compliance
Two or more years of experience in investment auditing
