Responsibilities
Assist in service repair, preventative maintenance, and field installation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment
Work with experienced field engineers on troubleshooting and service repair needs for ultrasound equipment
Utilize analytical skills to resolve customer issues and ensure effective communication for continual satisfaction
Recommend value-added services to enhance customer business efficiency
Maintain up-to-date customer service logs and internal service records, manage repair parts, and cycle times
Focus on customer needs and build strong relationships to become a trusted partner
Stay informed about market trends and independently handle service calls within a year of employment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience servicing ultrasound equipment
Certificate or Associate's degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
Experience with Web applications and Microsoft suite of products
Ideal experience with servicing diagnostic ultrasound equipment from vendors like Esaote, Philips, and Siemens
Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel within the NJ/NY area
Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment properly
Preferred
Experience interfacing with team members and customers in a solution-based service process
Proven ability to diagnose and repair diagnostic ultrasound equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-focused mindset
Efficient, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment
