Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and reviewing TOP TOY's monthly financial statements for the U.S., ensuring data accurately reflects store operations and IP-related business performance
Prepare and generate actual versus budgeted operating expense analyses, focusing on core areas such as store rent and procurement costs
Prepare and enter recurring and adjusting journal entries for month-end closing procedures, ensuring efficient and compliant completion of closing tasks
Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations, including IP collaboration payments and inventory transactions, with full supporting documentation and explanations
Ensure accurate coding of internal recharges, perform internal balance reconciliations, and respond to internal/external inquiries regarding financial matters
Review invoices, purchase orders, and accounts payable vouchers for coding accuracy and compliance with approval workflows to ensure timely and standardized payments
Assist in annual audit and tax filing preparations, and coordinate responses to inquiries and requests from audit and tax authorities
Participate in specialized projects such as financial process optimization and IP business accounting to support business expansion in the U.S. region

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 4 years of accounting-related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel functions and Word document processing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with store operations, operational teams, and IP partnership teams
Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and federal/state tax regulations, demonstrating rigorous compliance awareness and meticulous attention to detail

Preferred

Preference given to candidates with retail industry or IP-related financial experience
Preference given to candidates with SAP system experience; additional points for proficiency in SAP BPC, Coupa, and Concur systems
