Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware ESXi environments supporting development and DevSecOps pipelines

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools to improve software build, test, and deployment efficiency

Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance using Ansible and Terraform

Support QCOW2/QEMU image creation and management for virtualized test environments

Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts to streamline administrative and build processes

Apply and validate STIG and security hardening requirements across development and test environments

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance across virtualized and on-premises infrastructure

Collaborate with software development teams to ensure consistent, secure, and reliable DevSecOps practices

Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field

7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, system administration, or software infrastructure/automation roles

Expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXi, and vSphere administration

Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform

Strong scripting skills in Bash; working knowledge of Python

Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows

Familiarity with STIG compliance, system hardening, and security best practices

Understanding of QCOW2, QEMU, or other virtualization technologies

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance

Preferred

Experience with CMMC, DoD, or other compliance frameworks

Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), VMware VCP, or Terraform/Ansible certification

Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

Knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, and system monitoring tools

Active DoD security clearance
