Responsibilities
Support the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems that power Flock’s IoT devices
Assist with circuit and PCB design
Perform engineering analysis such as power budgets and signal integrity
Support prototype bring-up and debugging
Participate in testing and validation of production hardware
Contribute to real-world projects by assisting with the full hardware development lifecycle, from component selection and schematic documentation to system-level troubleshooting, design reviews, and new product development discussions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, digital/analog electronics, and signal processing
Familiarity with PCB design and schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD)
Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to get hands-on with hardware
Preferred
Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or IoT devices is a plus
Experience with soldering, PCB rework, or hardware prototyping is a plus
