Responsibilities
Drive new business by identifying and qualifying opportunities for managed IT and data services
Conduct in-person meetings with prospects and clients around Bozeman to build trust and demonstrate Ascent Data’s solutions
Understand customer's and prospect's short and long term goals, providing solutions aligned with their business objectives
Assist in developing a structured sales process that blends legacy business development with new client acquisition strategies
Work towards hitting sales targets and revenue goals, with unlimited commission incentives rewarding performance
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in IT services, cloud solutions, or data center industries
Proven track record of account management or sales success, closing new business opportunities
Strong understanding of IT services, managed services, and data solutions (or the ability to learn quickly)
Experience working with marketing teams and aligning sales efforts with marketing strategies
Self-starter with exceptional communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with local travel around Bozeman to meet with clients
A valid driver's license
Preferred
Previous experience in sales or team development is a plus
