Distribution Center Project Manager

Ashley Global Retail is the largest manufacturer of home furnishings in the world, and they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex projects within their distribution center. Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously from initiation through completion
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, IT, supply chain, and external partners
Drive the implementation of new technologies and process improvements within supply chain or operational workflows
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely communication
Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively develop and execute mitigation plans
Track project performance using appropriate tools and metrics, and report progress on technical updates to business leadership
Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and post-implementation reviews
Ensure adherence to project governance, change management, and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of project management experience managing complex, simultaneous projects
Proven experience implementing new technologies or systems, preferably in supply chain, operations, or enterprise environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Wrike, or similar)

Preferred

Experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or enterprise technology environments
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (a plus, not required)
