TURNBRIDGE is seeking a Network Engineer (Datacenter Buildout) to support the implementation of network infrastructure within a newly constructed data center in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities
Serve as the onsite IT representative, participating in daily construction meetings to align IT work with construction phases
Oversee and guide the completion of all network infrastructure required for RFS
Supervise low-voltage contractors installing cabling, badge readers, cameras, and related systems to ensure compliance with standards
Validate wiring/cabling quality and ensure installation meets documented requirements
Perform switch configuration, port configuration, and ongoing port commissioning
Support post‑implementation activities leveraging established documentation (90% already defined)
Build and configure infrastructure supporting video systems, card readers, telephony, and onsite security systems
Assist with workstation setup and domain configuration to enable downstream security team work
Coordinate with building management, low-voltage installation teams, and internal support groups
Keep all IT-related buildout activities on schedule throughout construction
Qualification
Required
Experience working within construction zones (data center construction strongly preferred)
Ability to follow PPE requirements: safety boots, vest, and hard hat
Hands-on experience with network deployment in new-build environments
Strong ability to oversee and evaluate low-voltage installation teams
Proficiency with switch configuration, port configuration, and port commissioning
Clear communication skills and experience representing IT in cross-functional project meetings
Experience supporting infrastructure for security systems, cameras, or telephony
Ability to work autonomously as the sole onsite IT resource
Preferred
Prior involvement in datacenter construction projects
Experience with structured cabling oversight and vendor management
Background in field networking, infrastructure deployment, or commissioning workflows
