Responsibilities

Develop and maintain iOS and Android applications that interface with our thermal imaging devices

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and embedded engineers

Implement app features including device connectivity, image streaming, and settings configuration

Contribute to testing, debugging, and performance optimization across mobile platforms

Potential to assist in development of ATAK plugins or similar tactical applications

Required

0–3 years of mobile application development experience (iOS and/or Android)

Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycles and UI development principles

Proficiency in Kotlin or Java (Android) and/or Swift (iOS)

Familiarity with REST APIs, Bluetooth, or USB device communication

Experience with Git version control

Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

This position requires a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)

Preferred

Experience with MFi / iAP2 External Accessory development

Experience with ATAK plugin development or similar tactical/military-grade mobile solutions

Projects involving hardware integration or tactical applications

GitHub or portfolio showcasing iOS and/or Android work

Knowledge of Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture (Android) and/or SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Bluetooth, or External Accessory framework (iOS)
