Responsibilities

Partner with People Leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective people strategies
Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and change initiatives
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations using HR metrics, trends, and analytics
Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective action, and policy interpretation
Partner with leaders to address performance concerns, document performance issues, and implement performance improvement plans
Ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application of HR policies and employment practices
Support enterprise talent initiatives including performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions, and job changes
Partner with leaders to strengthen engagement, retention, and leadership effectiveness
Coach leaders on effective people management, communication, and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across assigned client groups
Partner with Legal and HR Leadership on risk mitigation, policy interpretation, and complex employment matters
Manage unemployment claims and support audits as needed
Provide oversight and guidance for HR processes including onboarding, terminations, internal offers, compensation changes, and acquisitions
Leverage HR systems (SuccessFactors, ADP) to ensure data integrity and support business needs
Partner with HR Operations on position management, payroll coordination, PTO, bonus programs, and reporting
Lead or participate in enterprise HR initiatives related to Team Member experience, engagement, diversity, and inclusion
Support the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Champion the consistent use of HR tools and resources across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant employee relations and leadership support
Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to leaders
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Exceptional professionalism with the ability to manage sensitive matters discreetly
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across HR and business teams
Passion for developing others and advancing HearingLife's mission and values
Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Preferred

HR Business Partner or equivalent consultative HR experience preferred
SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or PHR / SPHR certification preferred
Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed teams preferred
SuccessFactors and ADP experience strongly preferred
