Responsibilities
Greets patients and gives them instructions regarding their exam and communicates with all medical staff regarding their patient’s reports and exams. The age of the patients served range from infants through geriatrics
Verifies correct patient using two patient identifiers prior to transport
Transports patients to and from Radiology utilizing proper lifting techniques and transfers device as needed pertinent to the patient population of infants to geriatrics
Receives incoming telephone calls and routes to the appropriate individual
Performs office procedures and duties within the Radiology Department by scheduling patients for examinations and processing patient orders
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Degree from higher level education degree that requires a high school diploma or GED as a pre-requisite is also permitted
Six months to 1-year experience required
