Responsibilities
Comply with all written and verbal safety rules using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs
Follows oral and written instruction of higher management
Works and cooperates with other departments within the plant
Responsible for good housekeeping in assigned and work areas
Comply with all general plant rules on conduct and attendance
Essential to be available for overtime, call-ins and rotating schedules. Clean areas as assigned
Willing to learn and upgrade skill level
Learn and keep Profile’s recycling program going
Always keep all Profile products clean and dirt free
Complete any other task assigned by Superiors
Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required
Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace
Identify and fix mechanical issues in various systems and components including but not limited to gearboxes, rollers, hydraulic / pneumatic cylinders, and associated mechanical devices
Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Maintain and complete all necessary forms, files and paperwork associated with the PM and work order programs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills
Minimum two years previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance department
Minimum of two years previous mechanical maintenance experience required
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
