Responsibilities

Full oversight of day-to-day operations across all active projects
Project management for all jobs, ensuring:
Materials are ordered accurately and on time
Technicians and subcontractors are scheduled efficiently
Projects move smoothly with minimal downtime, rework, or surprises
Continuous improvement of project timelines, workflows, and execution quality
Accountability for job profitability, margin control, and operational efficiency
Direct leadership of technicians and operational personnel
Hiring, onboarding, training, development, and (when necessary) termination of team members
Establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
Developing team members into higher skill levels and future leadership roles
Building systems and processes that allow others to step into roles as the business grows
Direct communication with clients as needed to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Proactively addressing concerns, expectations, and changes during projects
Ensuring projects are not only completed well, but feel well-managed from the client’s perspective
Creating systems that consistently deliver a high-trust, high-quality customer journey
Partnering with ownership to improve cash flow, scalability, and long-term profitability
Identifying operational opportunities to support and increase sales performance
Supporting upsells, larger clients, and expanded relationships through strong execution
Continually simplifying systems, reducing friction, and improving speed and clarity across the organization
Helping position the company for growth by building structure that scales beyond any one person
Balance hands-on involvement with high-level operational thinking
Build clear, repeatable systems with the intention of delegating and scaling
Hold people accountable while developing them
Connect field operations, sales, and leadership into one aligned machine
Identify inefficiencies early and implement practical solutions

Required

Strong background in construction, remodeling, or related trades (kitchens, cabinets, and baths preferred)
Proven experience managing technicians, subcontractors, operational teams, and multiple projects simultaneously
Deep understanding of scheduling, materials, labor utilization, and subcontractor coordination
Strong financial instincts with an understanding of how operations drive profitability
Confident communicator with both team members and customers
Highly organized, decisive, and effective with time and priorities
A leader who sees solutions and opportunities others miss
