Continuing Education Reviewer
The National Board for Certified Counselors is seeking a Continuing Education Reviewer responsible for evaluating CE program content and ensuring compliance with NBCC policies. The role involves regular communication with CE providers and applicants, timely reviews, and contributing to departmental improvement and quality assurance.

Responsibilities
Reviews Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) applications for ACEP status
Reviews Single Program approval applications
Assists with reviews of ACEP Audits
Assists with reviews of Single Program Audits
Assists with reviews of Co-sponsorship applications
Produces written communication and decision letters to applicants, ACEPs, and other stakeholders
Communicates verbally with applicants, ACEPs, and other stakeholders
Operates virtual communication platforms, including telephone and video conferencing
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with an emphasis in mental health, social work, human services, higher education, or accreditation required
2 years' related experience in regulation and/or policy compliance
Familiarity with graduate-level counseling and counseling regulatory standards
Working knowledge of counseling theories, diagnoses, and practices
Working knowledge of the internet, company databases, and queries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Adaptability – Ability to adjust to circumstances and think creatively
Attention to Detail – Ability to pay close attention to detail for accuracy and thoroughness in completing work
Collaboration and Teamwork – Ability to work cooperatively with other individuals and make valued contributions to the outputs of others in order to assist own team or project to achieve the required outputs

Preferred
Master's degree with an emphasis in mental health, social work, human services, higher education, or accreditation
