Responsibilities

Enterprise Architect, understands and applies cyber-security principles
Develops reference models of the enterprise and ensures information is maintained in the IT repository
Documents the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques
Makes expert recommendations on the scope of the performance/capacity management program
Provides executive leadership with balanced assessments of various program strategies and processes
Recommends adoption of a program that optimizes costs and benefits, and that supports achievement of overall IT program objectives and priorities
Continually assesses industry best practices, identify concepts, technologies, techniques, and tools that offer good potential for successful exploitation and application to the J6P network operations and services program

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months
This is a drug testing designated position
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program)
Attention to Detail - Experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards
Customer Service - Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs
Oral Communication - Briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience
Problem Solving - Identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions
Experience in areas such as program management, requirements analysis, network design, strategic/long-range planning, customer collaboration, leading teams
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level
