Responsibilities

Gather and analyze market and chain-account data
Build actionable insights and recommend product mix, distribution, pricing, promotions, and in-store merchandising
Produce scorecards, forecasts, Plan-O-Grams, and presentations for customer development teams and senior leaders
Partner across functions—sales, space management, COE, and analytics—to close reporting gaps
Lead category projects and timelines, train junior staff, and support special initiatives such as set flow and new item introductions
Recommend continuous improvements and innovative solutions
Responsible stewardship of expenses, consistent attendance, and compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards

Required

Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery or distributer sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Associate's degree plus 5 years of sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Skilled in the use and application of data and data tools-IRI, Scan data, Nielsen, Household Panel, Spectra, sales data, Trade Dimensions, consumer data, MS Access and other query tools
Computer skill requirements include: intermediate MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality
Required to travel by air and car as part of job duties
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation
Required to be 18 years or older

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Food & Consumer Product Goods or Food Marketing plus 5 years of sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Gallo winery sales or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
3 years Gallo Category development experience
