Responsibilities
Develop and improve nutritional formulas from concept to commercialization
Collaborate with Medical Nutrition, Marketing, and Sales teams to meet product and patient needs
Source and evaluate ingredients, ensuring compliance with nutritional, sensory, and stability requirements
Design and monitor product shelf-life studies
Contribute to clinical evidence generation and present findings at professional events
Ensure products and processes are protected by strong intellectual property
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in food science, nutrition, or related field (Master's preferred; PhD/PharmD is a plus)
Several years of experience in product development of nutritional beverages/powders or similar
Several years of experience in basic and applied research and development, preferably in a small/mid-sized nutrition, food and/or biotech company
Experience in food/beverage formulation and manufacturing
Strong expertise in ingredient interaction, processing impact, and micro-nutrient use
Ability to design and monitor shelf-life protocols
Familiarity with FDA regulations; EU exposure is a plus
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
English: C1 – Advanced
Preferred
Experience with aseptic processing/Tetra Pak®
Exposure to nutritional modeling software
Knowledge of intellectual property strategies in product development
