Northern Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Team Leader to join their team at Amy Johnson House in Hull. The role involves leading a team of Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support for adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs, ensuring their rehabilitation journey is effective and empowering.

Responsibilities

Leading the day-to-day operations alongside the Service Manager

Promoting daily independence in the people we support

Supervising and mentoring Support Workers

Safely administering prescribed medication

Allocating duties effectively across the team

Championing person-centred care and positive relationships with the people we support and their families

Maintaining accurate, respectful records

Promoting safeguarding, confidentiality, and best practices at all times

Qualification

Required

Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions

Leadership experience or a strong desire to take the next step into a leadership role

Must have the right to work in the UK

Preferred

Ideally, Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
