HR Generalist

Forefront Dermatology is seeking an HR Generalist to provide day-to-day support across various Human Resources functions, focusing on employee relations. The role involves partnering with leaders and employees to foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance, and support HR programs that enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations regarding workplace concerns, including misconduct, performance issues, and complaints
Document employee relations activities and maintain confidentiality and compliance at all times
Coach managers on effective leadership practices, communication strategies, and early intervention to prevent issues from escalating
Support corrective action processes and ensure consistent application of policies
Assist with the administration and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
Support audits and reporting requirements (EEO, ACA, etc.)
Assist in the coordination of performance management cycles, goal-setting, and feedback processes
Help track and identify training needs; support the rollout of development initiatives
Assist employees with benefits inquiries and escalations; partner with payroll and benefits teams as needed
Support annual open enrollment activities and compensation review processes
Participate in planning and delivering employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives
Support HR communications to ensure clarity, transparency, and consistency

Required

3–5 years of HR experience, with hands-on employee relations exposure required
Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Experience with HRIS systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
