Senior Manager, Global Trade Investigations (Remote)

Responsibilities

Conduct internal investigations of matters implicating P&W Global Trade policy or export control and sanctions compliance concerns, including interviewing witnesses, gathering relevant documents, and consulting with subject matter experts across Pratt & Whitney and RTX
In consultation with counsel in the Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures group, research the applicability of U.S. and foreign regulations concerning controlled military and dual-use items, and determine whether a matter constitutes a violation of Global Trade regulations or policies
Maintain evidence in a highly organized fashion and accurately document the resolution of all matters
Support Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures group initiatives and projects, as needed
Continually enhance and improve Pratt & Whitney’s 'Speak Up' culture while acting with integrity at all times

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of professional work experience in a Legal, Regulatory or Global Trade function; OR an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of professional work experience in a Legal, Regulatory or Global Trade function
U.S. citizenship, due to certain program restrictions

Preferred

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Familiarity and experience with U.S. export, import, and sanctions regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Sophistication in the use and understanding of digital technology tools, including software platforms used in engineering and manufacturing disciplines
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal clients, and Global Trade professionals enterprise-wide
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities within competing timeframes
Background within an aerospace manufacturing environment beneficial, but not required
