Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Epicor financial modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
Set up and maintain chart of accounts, posting rules, fiscal calendars, and accounting controls
Ensure accurate integration between operational modules and the general ledger
Identify automation opportunities and improve financial workflows within Epicor
Partner with Finance leadership to align configurations with GAAP and audit requirements
Support month-end and year-end close processes, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
Act as the Epicor financial SME for internal stakeholders and external partners
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs within Epicor or BI tools
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Epicor Kinetic, E10 or Prophet 21 financial modules
Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP-driven workflows
Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments for distribution or manufacturing
Ability to translate financial requirements into effective ERP configurations
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
SQL and Epicor financial reporting experience
Preferred
Prophet 21 preferred, not required
Experience with BI tools for financial reporting
Exposure to process automation within ERP systems
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred
