Responsibilities
Engineer and operate internal enterprise systems with a strong emphasis on Linux-based services and command-line operations
Build and maintain Python-driven automation to streamline internal workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve system reliability
Design, implement, and support integrations between internal systems and a broad SaaS ecosystem using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns
Own and improve identity-aware workflows, including authentication, access provisioning, and employee lifecycle processes
Implement and maintain SSO and provisioning integrations using modern authentication standards and API-based models
Administer and extend internal productivity platforms and enterprise SaaS tooling, acting as an engineering owner rather than a ticket handler
Troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues spanning Linux hosts, application logs, identity flows, and third-party services
Produce clear technical documentation covering system design, automation logic, and operational practices
Break down ambiguous internal problems into robust, scalable solutions and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience in systems engineering, internal platforms, or enterprise infrastructure roles
Deep, hands-on Linux engineering experience, with confidence navigating the command line, debugging services, and analysing logs
Strong Python development skills, used to build real automation, tools, or services - not just ad-hoc scripts
Experience managing and integrating SaaS platforms in a production environment
Solid understanding of IAM systems and authentication protocols, including how identity flows interact with real-world systems
Proven experience working with APIs and system integrations, designing reliable connections between heterogeneous platforms
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code or configuration management tooling
Comfort operating and improving systems that support joiners, movers, and leavers at scale
An engineering mindset focused on reliability, simplification, and automation
Ability to work independently on systems you own end-to-end, while collaborating effectively across teams
Preferred
Experience implementing or supporting SSO integrations for internally developed applications
Exposure to security-adjacent IAM concerns (without being policy or compliance-led)
