Responsibilities
Developing and applying computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems
Create new and/or revise existing designs, drawings, and bills of material for products
Lead or contribute as an individual technical contributor on a small design or test team
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Specialist in the use of the strategic CAD and file management tools (Pro-E/Creo or Solid Works preferred)
Accomplished at developing/integrating new ideas, optimizing alternatives, and establishing backup plans
Competent in all aspects of respective design domain, mechanical design, part fabrication and assembly of electronics
