Senior Program Analyst | Federal Contract - DC Metro Area
Pinnacle Management Systems, Inc. is a professional services company supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. The Senior Program Analyst will manage an IT Technical Refresh Portfolio and collaborate with government Control Account Managers to ensure effective project planning and execution.
Responsibilities
Develop FAA AMS artifacts needed for program Final Investment Decision (FID)
Assist CAMs with developing Control Account Plans and other project planning documentation on an annual basis
Identify changes to technical requirements and develop Baseline Change Requests and other supporting documentation for approvals
Process Baseline Change Requests in accordance with documented program procedures to maintain the integrity of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) on a monthly basis
Collect schedule status and Estimates to Complete (EAC) from CAMs and provide to Schedulers and Financial Analysts for processing
Assist CAMs in developing Variance Analysis Reports
Help develop the CAM’s Estimate At Complete
Use other agency systems as needed to assist in management analysis and decision support
Help develop Project Management Plans, Risk Management Plans, Project Status Reports, Executive Briefs, and other documentation as needed
Make management presentations as requested
Participate in weekly status, coordination, and peer-review meetings
Produce Monthly Status Reports (MSR) to document work performed on the contract
Performs other duties as directed by the Task Lead
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or other industry related field. (Masters preferred)
10+ years of experience in a program controls role
5+ years scheduling experience
Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using Microsoft Excel to develop pivot tables, charts, and graphs
Knowledge of earned value management
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management related certification
Experience with information technology (IT) infrastructure systems, System Development Lifecycles (SDLC), budgeting and financial analysis
Prior U.S. federal agency experience
