Machine Operator 1 Hole Drill - AWW1 Weekend Day Shift (Onsite)
Pratt & Whitney is a leader in aerospace manufacturing, focused on designing and servicing advanced aircraft engines. They are seeking a Machine Operator 1 to operate production machines, perform routine operations, and ensure quality checks while producing turbine airfoils. The role requires the ability to work shifts and may involve overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
Operator will train on the job to become proficient and certified in performing the operations in a portion of a standard work loop required in coatings, grinding, hole drilling, or finishing of turbine airfoils
Operator will follow work instructions provided
Operator will demonstrate understanding of quality and production
Demonstrate broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods and techniques
Has knowledge of cutting qualities of metal, machining, fabrication and tooling
Works from drawings and sketches and uses advanced shop mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments
Work from drawings and operation sheets and use decimals and fractions and a variety of precision measuring instruments
Requires knowledge of machining methods
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma / GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification
Preferred
2 or more years Machine Operator or Manufacturing Experience
