Key Account Manager
Nexans is a company focused on electrification and digital infrastructure, and they are seeking a Global Key Account Manager to lead strategic customer development in the Data Center sector across the United States. This role involves owning and growing key accounts, building executive relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth through complex opportunities.
Responsibilities
Own and develop strategic Hyperscaler, Colocation, and AI Data Center accounts, building multi-year global account strategies and growth plans
Secure specification and preferred-partner positioning with end customers, EPCs, engineering firms, and system integrators
Lead complex, high-value opportunities end-to-end, coordinating Engineering, Product, Pricing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams
Build trusted C-level relationships across customers and ecosystem partners, acting as Nexans’ single point of accountability for assigned accounts
Drive sustainable revenue growth through a robust pipeline while protecting margins and managing commercial risk
Bring market intelligence back into Nexans, influencing product roadmaps, reference architectures, and Data Center sales plays through structured customer feedback
Qualification
Required
10–15+ years' experience in B2B key account management or business development within Data Centers, digital infrastructure, electrification, or critical infrastructure
Proven success managing Hyperscale and/or Colocation customers in complex, multi-site, long-cycle sales environments
Strong experience working with EPCs, system integrators, and ecosystem partners
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders in global, matrix organizations
Solid knowledge of the US Data Center ecosystem (hyperscalers, colo providers, EPCs, utilities); international exposure is a strong plus
High commercial acumen with executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
