NEOGOV is seeking an Eligibility Technician 4 to join the Department of Health's Public Assistance Eligibility Team. The role involves assisting the public in connecting to various public assistance programs and services aimed at promoting self-sufficiency for Alaskans in need.

Responsibilities
Assist the public by connecting them to a variety of public assistance programs and services provided by our agency
Be part of the statewide Public Assistance Eligibility Team
Help Alaskan families, elders, and those in need reach higher levels of independence and self-sufficiency
Qualification
Required
One year of experience as an Eligibility Technician 2 with the State of Alaska or its equivalent with another employer and one year of lead or supervisory experience in any job
One year performing similar work that developed knowledge and skill in leading staff that apply program requirements while working with client customers in stressful situations
Post-secondary education in such fields as sociology, social work, psychology, counseling, human services, vocational rehabilitation, developmental disabilities, behavioral sciences, business, public administration, or accounting may substitute for the required experience (undergraduate credits: 2.67 semester/4 quarter hours = 1 month)
