Shipping & Receiving Associate (Second Shift)
Magellan Aerospace is a global aerospace company providing complex assemblies and systems solutions. They are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Responsibilities
Performs incoming inspection of various parts or components
Receive incoming goods, confirm accuracy and route appropriately to shop floor
Assures all quality control documents are complete and included in outgoing shipments
Ensures that materials shipped and received are verified against pertinent documentation
Responsible for the timely processing of expedited deliveries
Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices and following safety practice
Safely operates equipment including forklift, and other required equipment
Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
Familiar with IS09001, AS9100, Nadcap and Quality Management Systems
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
Magellan Aerospace Processing, New York, Inc. positions may require the use of information, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All accepted applications must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR
Preferred
Experienced forklift truck operator preferred
Factory-related experience preferred
Will train if necessary
