Responsibilities

Conduct preliminary research on selected technology topic
Model and analyze photonic and semiconductor imaging device
Investigate and simulate low power and high-performance IC for sensor readout
Help to study and identify key technology challenge points in related photoelectric sensor and applications
Publish papers or patents

Qualification

Semiconductor device modelingPhotoelectronic sensor technologyHigh precision analog IC designBiophotonic imaging researchDevice physicsMathematics skillsTeam playerCommunication skills

Required

Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering or Semiconductor Device Physics, Material Science or relative majors
Solid semiconductor physics background or deep understanding on new material science for photoelectric applications
Strong device physics and mathematics background and skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated detail-oriented team player

Preferred

Strong device physics and mathematics background and skills are preferrable
Good master on advance analog IC (PGA, ADC etc.) for sensor readout and digitization is a plus
Candidate with strong background in Biophotonic research is highly favorable
