Responsibilities
Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to assess the current Zuora RevPro configuration and identify areas for functional and process enhancements
Evaluate revenue automation workflows, revenue rules, and data flows between Zuora Billing and RevPro
Design and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, automation, and compliance in revenue recognition and reporting
Translate accounting and business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration and optimization
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful deployment and validation of changes in RevPro
Support end-user testing, training, and documentation of new or updated processes
Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606, IFRS 15) and internal controls
Act as the functional subject matter expert for Zuora RevPro during audits and financial close cycles
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting, Order-to-Cash, or Finance Systems roles
2+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora RevPro (Revenue Automation)
Strong understanding of accounting rules, revenue recognition policies, and ASC 606 principles
Demonstrated ability to improve or redesign revenue management processes within Zuora environments
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting certification
Experience with Zuora Billing, Salesforce, or other subscription billing platforms
Prior exposure to system integration between Zuora, ERP, and CRM platforms (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce)
Consulting experience or prior work in subscription-based or SaaS environments
