Responsibilities
Supervises, briefs, and dispatches contract security as required
Trains and instructs security staff as needed
Monitors closed circuit T.V. and fire alarm systems
Investigates incidents and activities
Patrols assigned areas to eliminate or report fire hazards, deter thefts, vandals, or violence and communicates through the use of a two-way radio
Monitors and maintains station at entry/exit point to City activities by observing, walking, reaching, twisting, and kneeling
Conducts operating cash count to ensure that all monies are accounted for
Maintains inventory of equipment using office equipment
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency)
Three (3) years' experience in a security related job
Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License
Security Guard Certification highly desirable
Preferred
One (1) year of experience as a supervisory, crew leader or lead worker in a security related job
Experience with Microsoft Office
