Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Driver

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site employees, drivers, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the warehouse, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location
Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, and manage visitor and driver sign-in and/or check-in processes in accordance with site requirements
Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer drop lots and dock activity, documenting irregular conditions, and reporting concerns through the chain of command
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, access control systems, and/or radios, and communicate issues to site contacts for follow-up
Complete written and/or electronic reports, including incident reports, shift activity logs, and patrol documentation, with clear and timely details
Assist with key, badge, and/or credential control processes as assigned, including issuing, collecting, and documenting items per site policy
Participate in emergency procedures such as fire alarms, medical incidents, severe weather, and/or evacuations, and provide direction to occupants as trained and permitted by post orders
Maintain a professional presence, enforce site rules in a courteous manner, and escalate concerns to supervisors and/or site management when needed
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
