Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or distribution location
Control access at entrances and gates by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry logs, and directing authorized personnel to the correct areas
Screen and/or monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic as required, including checking deliveries, coordinating with shipping and receiving, and reporting irregularities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing detailed reports and escalating concerns according to post orders
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations
Qualification
Required
Be 21+ years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
Be able to lift up to 20 lbs
Have CPR and/or First Aid
