Responsibilities
Review all video/audio/graphics prior to broadcast, helping to maintain station quality standards
Communicate with graphics, audio, and camera technicians about the overall appearance and execution before, during, and after the newscast
Controlling video, audio, and camera selection using a Ross video switcher
Assisting News and Production departments with live video and recording as needed
Training new production assistants in the various supporting roles related to news production
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in television production, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Experience with a Ross video switcher
