Responsibilities
Accurately interpret engineering drawings and perform plumbing, wiring, and assembly to meet functionality and specification requirements
Utilize a computer and shop floor control software to accurately track job labor and material usage
Troubleshoot components at startup and maintain a low failure rate
Competently use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices while contributing to JST's quality program by following established procedures
Understand and follow company safety and manufacturing procedures
Maintain stewardship of equipment and contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of the shop
Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments
Qualification
Required

Mechanical skills working on complex systems (e.g., automotive mechanics, HVAC systems, diesel mechanics, etc.)
Electrical and plumbing knowledge
Mechanical maintenance experience
Safely lift and carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs
Walk, stand, and work on your feet for the duration of the shift
Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp, and use hand/power tools
Work effectively and contribute within a team environment
