Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on building cloud-native microservices and backend solutions, with responsibilities including developing microservices and RESTful APIs, designing AWS cloud components, and implementing security best practices.

Responsibilities

Develop microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Java, and Python to support scalable application architectures
Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud components including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and CloudFormation
Implement security best practices across AWS environments using IAM roles, KMS, and secure API integrations
Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to development standards
Integrate AWS services with application APIs, including writing Lambda functions, triggers, and batch jobs
Collaborate in Agile teams, providing technical mentoring, analysis, and communication across business and technical stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud computing, Spring Boot, and microservices development
Strong expertise in building and integrating AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and CloudFormation
Proven experience developing scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Java, and Python, along with strong understanding of security best practices (IAM, KMS, etc)
