Responsibilities
Perform more skilled assignments and lead the lower level Gardener positions and volunteers
Act as a working lead in the preparation of flower beds
Maintain, plant, and irrigate trees, shrubs, turf, flower beds, and hanging flower baskets
Clean and sanitize the parks
General landscaping and maintenance of parks, municipal facilities, and roadways
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Two (2) years of greenhouse, plant nursery, landscaper, gardener, grounds keeper, or other applicable experience
Valid State of Alaska commercial driver's license, Class B (CDLB), with Tank endorsement, and satisfactory Driving Record at time of application
Satisfactory drug test at time of hire
