In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service while interacting with employees and visitors.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting individuals as needed at the location
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
Monitor for unusual activity or security-related hazards and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures, maintaining accurate records related to patrols and events
Support access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations of individuals entering restricted areas within the facility
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
