Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and directing individuals as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client protocols
Assist with emergency response activities as required by the site and Allied Universal guidelines
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
One or more of the following is required: 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
