Responsibilities
Performing professional nursing activities in the care of residents
Delegating aspects of care delivery to nursing assistants as appropriate
Assisting in the completing of performance evaluations for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMA)
Qualification
Required
High school plus Technical diploma in practical nursing and zero to six months of relevant prior experience
Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse license through WI Department of Safety and Professional Services
Current BLS CPR certification required within 30 days of start date
Criminal background check free of convictions of abuse of individuals or misappropriation of property while in a formal caretaking setting
Proven experience in ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages as well as ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts to calculate area, circumference, volume, and/or land measure
Proven experience with medical terminology
Preferred
Experience in restorative nursing, long-term care, psychiatric nursing, medical nursing or geriatric nursing preferred
